If you use the popular 3rd party apps such as 6snap, 6tin or 6tag, you probably know about Rudy Huyn. In case you didn’t know, he is one of the best Windows Phone developer. Rudy Huyn has released 18 apps so far and the apps has been downloaded 15 million times (altogether, of course). According to Rudy, his social apps were the most successful and his another app, TVShow wasn’t a huge success like 6tag or 6tin. He also reveals his earnings from the apps. He earns ‘enough’ to leave his day job and he is actively working on new projects everyday. Including that, he also states that sharing early builds of his apps makes the Windows Phone fans a bit excited.
He also shares some tips for new Windows Phone developers. He suggested developer to display custom advertisements on app rather than displaying ads from a publisher. He also suggested users to promote all of their apps on the about section of an app. Last but not least, he also shared that making a popular app on Windows Phone Store is much easier than its on Android or even iOS.
