The best alternative to WhatsApp currently on Windows Phone is undoubtedly Hike Messenger. It just got an update today, and the best part of it is that you can directly share videos from Photos. WhatsApp still has a problem with video sharing. And if you did see some delay in Hike messenger, it should be better now, now that they have rebuilt the messaging system
